The Choice of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is not just a one-time act; it is an ongoing process that requires commitment and intention.
It is essential to forgive others for our own well-being. Holding onto grudges can lead to emotional and spiritual turmoil, while forgiveness can bring peace and healing. God instructs us that if we do not forgive others, He will not forgive us. This emphasizes the importance of forgiveness in our spiritual lives.
By recognizing the depth of God's forgiveness, we can find the strength to extend that same forgiveness to others. This reciprocal relationship of forgiveness is vital for our spiritual growth and emotional health.
