A New Name

Event Overview

The very first event hosted in December 2023 centered around the theme "Who Does God Call Me." It was an evening filled with inspiration and personal reflection. All of the ladies present introduced themselves using their birth names, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After the introductions, each participant drew a name from a bowl.

The names selected were all biblical, they were names that God calls His children, such as:

• Redeemed

• Cared For

• More Than a Conqueror

• Healed

Each woman wore her chosen name card for the remainder of the evening, symbolizing her acceptance to the biblical identity represented by the name and letting go of the lies that the world made her believe about herself because of past mistakes.

Throughout the event, each woman shared her personal testimony, discussing how the name she picked related to her current life experiences. This segment fostered a sense of community and encouraged deep introspection among the attendees.

Each woman had the opportunity to identify with how God sees her. The event celebrated the distinct identities of each woman and reinforced the idea that every woman is uniquely valued in the eyes of God despite her past, present, or future choices.
