Take It To God Tuesday
Have you been feeling anxious lately?
As we approach the end of the year, we approach deadlines, project endings, and for some the realization that the goals we made at the beginning of the year are still unmet.
Instead of focusing on what you did not complete I want you to reflect on what you have completed. More than that, focus on what God has done in your life. You may have to take some time and really go back and reflect on each month, but I guarantee you that God has been working in you and through you this year.
After your reflection, sit down and ask the Lord what He wants you to focus on the rest of this year. For some it may be to finish the book that He put in you, for some it may be to apply for a new job, others register for a class. For some it may be to rest in Him, to intentionally spend time with Him and still for others it could be to apologize to someone. Instead of being anxious about what we didn’t get done this year, let’s refocus and ask the Lord what He wants us to do with the rest of the year.
Some of the things that He tells us to do may be scary but remember that if He told you to do it, that He will be with You throughout it. Anytime anxiety tries to creep in when you are doing what God told you to do, recite this verse:
Cast your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Take your anxieties to God and leave them there.
If there is any area that you need prayer, let us know. There is a feature on the homepage where you can leave a prayer request.

Thank you for this, Jackie. What I didn't do is so big in my mind, and yes, causing anxiety. You just reminded me to celebrate small victories and progress....and also the year isn't over yet. We are our worst critics. I will take a step back, pray, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead me to what God wants me to focus on for the remainder of the year. I don't want busyness, I want productivity and an assurance that I'm doing exactly what God wants me to do.💯✝️ And continue to fight the good fight of faith⚔️
