Take it to God Tuesday
Do you all remember the song Mary Mary sang with the lyrics: I just can’t give up now, I’ve come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me the road would be easy and I don’t believe he’s brought me this far to leave me.
Those lyrics will preach when you find yourself doing the work of the father and opposition is doing it’s best to bring down. Notice my intentional wording because it can’t stop you. Only you can decide what you will do next. “Do I continue on this journey of the unknown, following my God’s instructions?” Or will allow fear, doubt, confusion, loneliness etc to shake me up and bring my belief into question?
I want to encourage you that God’s way is better. Walking into the unknown, guided by the Holy Spirit and called by God is the path to new revelation. You’ve seen your way, comfort leaves you stagnant, and the wages of sin is death. Why not try something new? Trust in the one who can not lie (Numbers 23:19). Trust the God who is consistent (Malachi 3:6). Follow the way that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14).
“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.””
Joshua 24:15 NLT
